We will provide a clean, friendly and homely environment and accommodation – with a starter pack to provide you with your daily living essentials.

•  The accommodation will have staff on side 24/7 365 days a year.

•  We WILL BE responsible for all general repairs and maintenance.

•  We ARE NOT responsible for liable for your own personal belongings, if

anything is lost or damaged that is your responsibility.

•  All key workers are able to offer advice and support on any issues/problems/queries you may encounter during your stay at PSL.

•  Your key work sessions are your time to seek advice, discuss, complain or simply

talk through your feelings 

•  PSL offers you accommodation within a clean, friendly and a homely environment with 24/7 staff on site.

Health

 

•  Registering with the local GP, dentist and optician etc

•  We will ensure you are aware of the location of the nearest hospital, NHS walk in health centre, sexual health clinic, alcohol, drug and substance misuse service,

One–stop information service and other services requested.

•  Accessing specialist counselling services, professional help and/or other agencies

•  Arranging and attending appointments.

•  Liaising with social worker, doctors, family etc.

•  Dealing with emotional difficulties (stress/anxiety) (informal counselling)

•  Monitoring and supervising the use of prescribed medication

•  Arranging prescriptions and medication collection from the pharmacy.

 Managing Budgeting and Independence 

 

•  Assistance with budgeting for food, bills, clothing, recreation etc.

•  Assistance with welfare benefits, forms, bills, etc.

•  Opening up a bank account

•  Young people will be responsible for buying their own food and clothing however they will be supported in preparation of meal and house shopping. 

Partnerships/ working together:

•  We will continue to build partnerships with professionals/agencies to give you

access to a network of support.

•  We will work closely with the local authority and social work team to ensure you have access to the services that meet your needs

•  Assisting with religious and cultural observances

•  Reporting repairs and maintenance issues 

•  Assisting with organizing social events

•  Every month your keyworker will submit a report to your Social worker about how you have settled in, your progress, opportunities identified, and your strengths and areas of development and will provide you a chance to give your views and comments.
